Please join us and your fellow group psychotherapy colleagues and get moving to support HGPS by joining the NAMI Walk 2019 HGPS team. This is a fun, 5K walk on Saturday, May 4, 2019, 9:30am, starting at Sam Houston Park, downtown Houston, 1000 Bagby St.
While this event is a fundraiser for NAMI, the HGPS Outreach Committee is encouraging your participation as a way to promote the interests of HGPS, increase our visibility in the mental health community, and advocate for group psychotherapy.
To register for the walk as a member of the HGPS team, please follow this link:
then click on “Walker on a Team”. We are working on getting HGPS team T-shirts. There is no charge to register. You may donate personally, ask others to donate on your behalf, or just show your support with your presence at the walk.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness provides support, education and advocacy to families, individuals, educators, mental health providers and law enforcement professionals dealing with the impact of mental illness, a mission we have supported for many years.
If you have questions about how to register, where to meet, or anything else, please contact us, the team co-leaders.
