An event every month that begins at 11:00am on day First of the month, repeating until March 2, 2018
The HGPS Consultation Group offers an opportunity for mental health professionals of all skill levels to openly discuss clinical issues in their individual, couples and group psychotherapy work, with a strong sense of support and collegiality. In a small group format, we use modern psychoanalytic clinical theory and applied technique, as well as interpersonal theory, to understand transference, counter-transference, defense-resistance and other significant clinical issues that may cause difficulties in our work.
The group is led by Franklin Gittess, MD, FAGPA, FAPA, who has many years of teaching and consultation experience. He is certified in Psychiatry and Psychoanalysis.
Cost: $375 for a total of 9 hours of educational consultation. Payment options are available. CEU’s are available. The group meets the first Friday of the month from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from October through March. It will be meeting at 4203 Montrose, Suite 230. The first group for this training year begins November 3, 2017.
