Brown Bag Training: Boomers, Xers, Millenials, iGens in Group Psychotherapy

January 12, 2018 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Free

With Christine Henry, Ph.D., LCDC
CEU 1.5 hrs.
When looking at issues of diversity one area often overlooked is generational differences. Boomers, Xers, Millennials, iGens bring their own set of characteristics and values which often clash with the previous generation. Participants will be divided into groups according to their generation and process various issues from that perspective with the whole group. Discussion will include definitions of each generation and what challenges and opportunities they have when interacting in a group. There will be processing specifically how this applies to HGPS and the dynamics in the organization and what the future may bring.

All HGPS Brown Bags are held at The Council for Alcohol and Drugs at 303 Jackson Hill. For further information, please contact Constance Moore, M.Ed., LPC at 713-961-5055 or mcamtexas@yahoo.com. Our Administrator, Dorothy Weathers, will send out a request for lunches beginning the week of the Brown Bag training.
